Balancing Happiness And Reality

Nothing is strong enough to take away my smiles if I really want to smile. The same is applicable to you if you really want to. This is because there are no rules and regulations that says you cannot be happy if you want to inspite of what may be happening around you. It is a state of mind, and therefore not dependent majorly on the things we see, the environment we find ourselves, what we have or don't have but dependent on what comes from within. This thought pattern makes me see happiness in a different style and way.

By happiness in this context, I mean the unquenchable, irresistible, unfathomable... joy that flows from within (the heart). The joy that knows no bound! The joy that cannot be explained! The joy that makes people wonder how you live your life in the midst of so many distractions, activities..., and happenings around you. And they are like this cannot just be happiness in itself, because what they see is beyond happiness itself. May I please use this medium (platform) to announce to you that happiness is not the absence of the realities of life, but the building of capacity to accommodate life's difference in such a way that happiness is discovered, achieved or intact, as each differences unfolds. From the above, one can define happiness as a state of well being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to immence joy. Do you now see why I say and wouldn't mind saying that nothing, I mean no damn thing is strong enough to stop my smiles if I really want to smile.

Most people think that when you're happy in the midst of certain circumstances or perhaps economic melt down, that you're not being realistic... These and more are the reasons why happiness is not based on things or happenings, yet it does not push aside the role of the realities of life in influencing happiness but shifts the focus or should I say places emphasis on the need to develop capacity to accommodate life's challenges or differences as they come, while still finding your place in happiness. When this is achieved, you become a wonder on earth, a mentor and a book to be read as no one would understand how you utilise the resources within your reach that some others consider to be small, and turn it to a huge (big) harvest.

The knowledge (discovery) of true happiness, has helped me to be content with what I have while reaching out for more. It has helped me to believe in myself, and not to see myself less than the other, it doesn't matter what the other has or don't have. For time and chance happen to them all. When you have the winner mentality, it makes you confident, help you appreciate yourself and the others in your life, making you know that you have a choice to be happy amidst the realities of life. Sweetheart! You only have one life to live. Make it worthwhile by living happy each day! #Smiles #Happiness #Joy #The heart #Reality #Building capacity #Balancing happiness and reality.
