Where The Mind Finds You

In time past, we were made to believe that being what you want to be has a lot to do with where you find yourself at any given period of time. Well, I wouldn't say there's no element of fact in it but beyond where you find yourself is a higher thought process that states that it is not hugely about where you find yourself that matters but where your mind finds you.

The environment we find ourselves in, the kind of people we come accross, the things we see around us, the kind of lifestyle we adopt..., no doubt, all these rob off in our lives. But then, even in the midst of all these tendencies, you would still find someone or persons worthy of emulation. I mean persons who do not allow their environment, circumstances, events to dictate the pace on how they should live their lives; persons who always think out of the box, comfort zones, while utilising opportunities as it comes.

The mind has a way that it operates. It attracts what you attract to it. Normally, where the mind is idle, anything can come in and take residence. This is because the mind is not isolated from its environment, what it senses, as well as the people it engages, but it can be independent if well equipped. This leads to the mind renewal process.

For the mind to really function to its optimum, it has to be renewed day in, and day out. The essence of all these is to make the mind fit, healthy, sound, hail and hearty, and formidable for the challenges of life. There are so many ways to renew one's mind. The Word (Bible) is a recommended tool anytime any day.

Let me diversify a bit. Have you ever wondered why certain persons (people) no matter the well cultured and human friendly environment they find themselves, they still don't see themselves become anything worthwhile? Perhaps, you must have seen some persons armed with wealth and power, and yet they don't know what to do with it or with their lives, whereas some persons who others consider as poor in a low class environment as said by them, yet do great things and utilise resources allocated to them effectively. The difference is not in what such persons possess, have or don't have but in the mind. Give such Judicious poor fellow a chance, and such persons would turn it into gold.

Nobody wishes to be in an environment that is not tasteful but such is life. All fingers are not equal. The poor we would always have among us just like the rich. But it is better to be among the rich if you can. You don't need to be someone else to become rich. In that little that you do, be a solution, think ahead (big)..., and you would be attracted to wealth.

I have learnt to position my mind not to focus more on problems but on how problems can be solved because there would always be one challenge or the other to get to the next level as far as life is concerned, and I am still learning. You too can be part of this learning process. #Environment #Kind of People #Lifestyle #Mind #Judicious #Challenge #Solution #Learning #Mind renewal #The word.
