Five Magic Words

I am one of those who believe strongly that words are powerful, and knowing how to effectively use them, makes the user powerful also. Words are endless as you can always find a seasoned word for each season if you search deeply the word each season requires of you. Words doesn't just come alive! It is being produced by the human race as a natural ability and given interpretations. These interpretations can come in different forms or format as a word can mean different things to different people. What is a word?

A word is a unit of language that native speakers can identify. Language on its own is a systematic means of communicating by use of sounds or conventional symbols. That is to say that words are the product of languages. In other words, without language, there would be no word, and without words, there's definitely no languages.

It is pertinent to state here that there are different (uncountable) words for different needs depending on the need that is to be met, yet in the midst of words, there are unique words that meet needs faster than imagined. Sometimes these words appear simple, and are mostly ignored by some of us simply because we've not come to realise how effective these words are until we engage these words. Then and only then, would we begin to see how magical these words can be. Please indulge me as I take you on a ride on the five magic words that are ever trendy and result oriented if used appropriately:

Please: In this context, the word please is used in polite request. However, you would still find some people who find it difficult to say please. They would rather keep the request to themselves or force their way through, which is uncultured. It doesn't take anything to say please.

Excuse me: This has divers interpretations. It's still a polite way of making request. Simply put, it's the taking of exemption from someone for a particular act.

Sorry: In this context, sorry is a polite way of saying that one is remorseful over certain misdeed or misconduct.

Thank you: This is a conversational expression or appreciation. It is a way of saying that you are grateful for what someone has done.

Pardon me: In this context, we can use pardon me when we want something to be repeated. It is also used in the form of sorry when one has made an impolite sound...

Imagine where these five magic words are put to use each day within the seven days of the week, then certain issues would be drastically reduced. Besides that, these words help to colour the lives of its users and make such persons attractive to unmerited favours and blessings. #Powerful words #Please #Excuse me #Sorry #Thank you #Pardon me #Five magic words.
