Become The Book

A book is a written work or composition that has been printed on pages and bound together. Simply put, any written work or composition that has been prepared and issued for public distribution or sale (published) is called a book.

There are different types of books today in the market, place of work, business centres, houses, in fact at different locations and what have you. These books are written for different purposes, needs, moods, at different atmosphere, and for different reasons depending on its targeted audience.

The targeted audience is very important here as this would determine if the book would sell, and not just sell alone but satisfy the essense for which it was published. So therefore, it's not all about writing or publishing a book, we must be able to ask ourselves some thoughtful questions like: who and who would need this book? Is the content strong enough to achieve the aim or purpose of the book? How do I get this book to its targeted audience? What methodology or strategy should I employ taking into consideration the resources available to me? What if it didn't go as planned, after playing my part, what do I do? What if there's an unnoticed error along the the way, what corrective measure should I put in place? Did I really place myself in the shoes of the targeted audience? Do I enjoy reading the book bearing my audience in mind? The lists are limitless!

Studies have shown that readers understand better when one become the book than just what is written. As a matter of fact, people respond better to what they see you do than what you say you do. When you become the book, readers will not find it difficult to assimilate as there would be no ambiguity whatsoever.

I am aware of the fact that the book is different from the person, but the person is not entirely different from the book. There must be some magnitude of match if not all. The book cannot be saying something else, while the life of the writer is totally different from the book. If so, there would be a disconnect somewhere. This is not to emphasize a life without weakness or mistakes but to create a balance between the writer and the book, so the reader doesn't get it all twisted. This is why people can relate with you better, when you tell your own stories, because it is assumed that it is real, and that it happened live. So if someone is going through such experiences, and reads about the measures you adopted to scale through such experiences, it becomes easy for the reader to comprehend.

So therefore if I must write a book, I must put into consideration to a large extent my targeted audience (readers). This is the only way I can effectively communicate or pass across my message to my readers. In summary, it is much more better to become the book than to write the book itself. Becoming makes the lines of any written book catchy and interesting because it speaks of reality. #Reality #Written work #Composition #Prepared #Public distribution #Sale #Targeted Audience #Experience #Your own stories #Become the book.
