You would never know the power of instinct until you narrowly escape an unsafe risky venture. Instinct is an inborn pattern of behaviour that is responsive to specific stimuli. It is that sensitive feeling that tells you or give you a warning or restrain about something. Instincts are gifts from above. It is that natural ability that helps you discern whether something is genuine or not. Every human on planet earth is born with it. The question is do we all use it?
There must have been times in your life when you are faced with certain thought pattern or decisions that could influence or determine a lot, which could either bring you down or lift you up. I am sure then that something must have prompted your decisions. It could be the terms and conditions in such decisions. It could be about the legitimacy of such decisions. It could also be connected to how realistic or authentic such decisions are. Certain questions would have been running through the mind simultaneously at such moments, so as to gain a common ground before taking such decisions. Questions like: is this thing real? Am I sure I am doing the right thing? Is it durable? Is it really genuine? Hope this is not a scam! Is it something I can give a try? Is this thing really good for me? What if I try it and it doesn't work? What happens next? What is the risk involved? What will it cost me? Can I take the risk? Should I still continue? What if I discuss this issue with someone I can confide in so as to seek his/her opinion on the matter?
All of the above questions continue to play out simultaneously until your soul and your spirit agrees on what to do at such particular times when these decisions are to be taken. If you ever felt this way, it is your instinct that is working at such time. I tag it "Instinct 101" because of the thought process it takes you through.
Funny enough, most of us don't follow our instincts. To some of us, whatever goes... And even when our instinct is trying to figure out a particular clause or bring to our attention certain ambiguity or irregularities about certain terms on which we are about to take some decisions on, we lock up pretending not to feel anything. And then we dive in only to regret our decisions later.
To say whether instincts work in every human, yes it does. It's just that some of us don't take out time to listen to that still voice whether to act or not. And for some of us, even when it is not clear to us, we find it difficult to seek the opinion of some credible persons. Sweet heart! You don't assume you know it all when you can seek the opinion of someone you can confide in.
What about research? These platforms are there to help you navigate your way through life instead of taking unnecessary risk. So use them wisely when you can. Let me end by saying this: if you don't follow your instincts appropriately, others would suggest their instincts for you to follow. #Inborn pattern #Still voice #Questions #Opinion #Research #Decision.
