Asking And Receiving

"Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you". Does it look like I am beginning to sound religious? Off course not! On the contrary these words are basic truths that should be applicable to life encounters but for those who claim to be religious but denying the power thereof, these words are become mere words. However, any misconception whatsoever doesn't in anyways neutralise the efficacy of these basic truths.

There is a deeper revelation about asking and receiving that transcends the mere phrase "Asking and Receiving". I am very optimistic about the fact that sometimes you ask and you receive immediately, while some other times, you ask and you don't receive immediately until you press harder with interest (determination) that you really needed what you are requesting for. So don't get it twisted! You would not always receive anything by just mere asking. Sometimes, you have to push (press) further to receive from the giver. This is where seeking comes in handy.

Seeking is a higher level of asking. To seek after something is to go beyond asking for it to reaching out (searching) for it till you find (get) it. In other words, you have to be willing or determined to have it by showing that keen interest that you really need it.

To be realistic, there are people who wouldn't even dare, let alone to give to you if you don't give them reasons why they should give to you, while some others would release it immediately to you before you say it. These are two different class or set of people who have principles to uphold and should not be judged by certain actions taken simply because it didn't favour you. Your concern should be how to endear yourself to these persons such that even with certain principles to uphold, such persons still give to you. Your mind, attitude, charisma and what have you, are needed to receive from these persons.

Funny enough, the Creator (Almighty) is like that. Sometimes you ask, and receive immediately. But some other times, you need to seek before you can find. And let me wow you a bit, sometimes you need to go beyond seeking by knocking.

To receive certain things depending on the weight of what is sought after, which is likened to one open door or the other, you need to knock. Have you ever knocked on certain doors that people are expected to be inside, and yet it takes a lot of time to be opened? Remember, there are levels of doors or gates! Some of them you would knock and knock and knock, and just when you are about to give it up or let go, the answer shows up.

All of the above are not ment to purnish you but to make you stronger, knowing that you cannot be given more than you can bear. It also bring to your consciousness that you don't always get what you want, but you can get what you need.
