There are a million and one side attraction in the world today that are strong enough or captivating to indulge and keep you busy until you are fallen for it, head over heels. These attractions are so powerful that they work on your mind, thoughts, and imaginations. And if care is not taken, they overtake or overwhelm the individual, persons or group of persons, causing such persons to yield to their demands. As trendy, charming, and harmless as some people would say, these things has resulted to certain conflicts that sometimes we wonder where it all started.
These things come in the form of what we see, feel, hear, think about, imagine and what have you. As appealing as people think they are, these things creep in, saturate the whole system and like we think we are in control, they begin to influence our decisions, thought pattern etc. However, it is the one you allow access into your heart that gets the best part of you. The question is what do you let in?
The eye is part of the sense organs that is very sensitive in nature. It stares at an information or a piece of work, process it, make its commendations, and transmit it to the necessary organs for interpretation.
The ear is another vital sense organ. It receives sound waves and send it to the necessary organ that would process it, as well as interprete it. Just like the eyes, the ear is vulnerable if not managed properly. Whatever it hears, it is gullible to believe and act on it, except otherwise curtailed and restricted.
The brain (mind) is the seat of the faculty of reason which is responsible for thoughts and feelings. It is the place where signals received by the eyes and ears are sent for processing and interpretations. It is at this point, that the human race is able to make certain decisions pending on its interpretation.
The heart is the locus of feelings and intuitions. It is the place where the issues of life flows. The heart can be likened to the spirit of mankind. Whatever cannot get your heart, cannot get you. It doesn't matter the interpretation done by the mind, once the heart doesn't accept or received it, it is as null and void. This is the reason why there are lots of counsellings, admonitions..., as to why people should guide the heart deligently, for out of it, are the basics of life. You need to be very selective as to what you let into your heart.
What we see, hear, think about, imagine, and what have you, somehow, has an impact on us. But your choice as to which you let into your heart can make a whole lot of difference. Be wise!
