If it mattered to you, you would come through, no matter what time it is. And if your heart is in it, you would care less, hence, you would go for it. Notwithstanding, preparation is a key(determinant) factor here as emptiness cannot be used as an excuse.
How prepared are you in the journey of life? How ready and stable are you in scaling through life's bustles and hustles, and still meeting up with your routine responsibilities? Are you handling more than you can carry? May be you need a review of your activities or responsibilities so as to map out efficient ways to creating some form of balance. I understand how busy and stressful the day can be at times. And sometimes you just wished you could skip some routines, take some rest, and refresh so as to gain momentum, which is a good decision to make sometimes. Reasons are: you cannot do anything productive if you are not in good shape. Before you can engage in anything worthwhile, it is advisable you get yourself prepared for it.
No one wants to know the in and out details about your personal life. All they want to know is if you can deliver at such moment where it matters most. It's only wise to put yourself together and avoid excuses as possible as you can. The focal point is that: don't spread yourself out there without some form of preparation. Sometimes, the need for certain developments or activities can be very demanding and may require you responding swiftly, but then one needs to be sure that he/she is fit to handle it rather than making caricature of one's self. Emptiness is not an excuse!
What are your priorities like? What are your value system? It is a fact that sometimes no matter how prepared you are, some things beyond your control would still occur, but at least you won't be swept off your feet completely. This is only possible when you are prepared for the unexpected.
What is this preparation really all about? It is an activity of putting or setting in order in advance of some act or purpose. It is an activity leading to skilled behaviour, portraying that one is made ready or fit or suitable before hand. Emptiness, on the other hand is a state of amounting or containing nothing, while an excuse is a defence of some offensive behaviour or some failure to keep a promise.
If you watch the above definitions closely, you would discover that the languages are different. One speaks of excellence, while the others emphasizes mediocrity. It is up to you to choose which to be identified with and follow through on it. Food for thought: Be prepared which ever way you can, for emptiness is not an excuse! #Emptiness#Nothing#Excuse#Defence...#Preparation#In advance.
