Created To Be

Have you ever cared to ask certain questions like who am I? Who was I created to be? For what purpose do I exist to fulfill? Am I really exploring the hidden talents or potentials within me? What really drives me? What am I living for? Who do I see myself as? Who do people say I am, and who do I say I am?

Identity is key word in any organized system, and its importance cannot be overemphasized. We need to get to the point where our lives are no longer determined by what other people label us as but by what we see ourselves as. And for this to be effective, you need to know who you truly are.

Yeah, sometimes life throws so many things at you that makes you want to doubt your true person. And for some of us, the cares of this life, the pressure from family, the chase after money, the various responsibilities we have to put up with, the need to meet up with certain targets or deadlines..., tend to militatate against or challenge the true persons we were created to be. Some may even say: what would discovering who I am fetch me? Is it going to put food on my table? Is it going to pay my bills? Is it going to take care of my immediate, short term and long term needs?

The above questions and lots more are some of the questions certain persons may want to put forth as an excuse to not discovering who they truly are. But still it doesn't change the subject matter as to who I was created to be.

To be realistic, life is not that easy as you have to keep up with diverse responsibilities. But it can be easy if you find, discover or search out those things you like or enjoy doing such that even when working at it, you derive pleasure, and at the same time getting returns from it. It is the above feature that motivates you forward such that even when you are stressed out, you don't wear out because you are in the centre of your purpose.

The everyday routine of life will never cease. There would always be one need or the other to meet. Responsibilities will always be there, and may increase as one steps into a new level. No amount of money would satisfy anyone, as there would always be more to aspire for.

If after the chase of worldly gains, and the cares of life, and we still haven't discovered who we are, it would amount to wasting of precious time on planet earth, because nothing last forever except that of eternal value. Though at the earlier stage, it's not that easy following, but as you continue in your purpose, certain things begin to fall in pleasant places which may be immediate, short term, or long term. And who says your purpose can't sustain all your needs, when you follow it judiciously? May be I should ask again: what were you created to be? The question is mine and yours to answer... #Identity #Potential #Drive #Hidden talent #Purpose.
