Laughter Therapy

Laughter is the activity of showing or feeling mirth or pleasure or happiness. It is also an activity that expresses the manifestation of joy, excitement, or scorn. Laughter is a medicine to the soul. It is therapeutic. It prevents strains, unnecessary aging..., and eases off pressure. A therapy on the other hand is the act of caring for someone which could be in the form of medication or remedial training etc.

Studies and researches have shown that laughter is the solution to some health challenges which unknown to us, we take piles of medication, only to discover that a mere laughter could prevent such health disorder. We don't laugh because we want to, we laugh because it is helpful, healthy, and worthwhile to the body system.

Most people today are too serious chasing after one thing or the other, that they forget to introduce or add laughter into their program. The issue is not the busy schedule, business activity, work etc, but not knowing when to loosen up, relax, and laugh. For some of us, we think that unless we become too serious, work, business and other activities won't go on. Hello workaholic! You need a break, and that break is laughter.

Laughter colours your world. It shows a sense of belonging, expresses a sigh of relief, heals some pain especially emotional stress. It helps to reduce wrinkles in the body. It also aid the heart beat, prevent depression, and other negative tendencies.

People who laugh when they should, help to boost their life span. You look good when you smile. As a matter of fact, there's no way you can become a saddist when you smile often because saddist themselves would be far from you. Laughter in its right order, leaves you with an open mind, and opens up doors of favour and opportunities where those who frown a lot cannot enter. It endears you to great friends, well wishers, and even your enemies would have no choice at times than to be a blessing to you. However, I need to state categorically that it is not all laughter's that are ment for happiness or mirth, some are ment to scorn. Let me shed (throw) more light here.

Not all laughter's are designed to heal or are healthy or necessary at a given period of time. Some are ment to scorn, inflict pain, cause damage..., and ruin a just course. So instead of the laughter achieving what it should naturally do to the body system, it ends up doing the reverse. People should be careful and know where to draw the line in certain laughters. Balance is the keyword!

Whichever way you look at it, laughter is essential in our daily lives. And the ability to know when and where to apply it, makes you on top of your game. People who laugh, live longer and age lesser! #Mirth #Happiness #Joy #Excitement #Pleasure #Laughter #Medication #Therapy #Health.
